Around 10,000 years ago, voltron was created by the altean king alfor on the planet altea as a means to defend the universe. Using trans-reality steel and the power of quintessence, alfor created what may very well have been the greatest weapon in the universe. However, zarkon, a close friend of alfor, along with his wife, began to grow mad with power as they were exposed to quintessence. This led to zarkon leading the galra people to attack the alteans and destroy them, leaving nearly no survivors. For thousands of years, the universe was under siege as the galran empire grew larger and larger. However, when some cadets of the galaxy garrison on earth stumbled upon one of voltron's lions and began to pilot it, they quickly discovered the castle of lions, where some of the last few alteans were. There, the lions and the potential pilots of voltron were gathered, and the universe was given a new hope.
Daniel is exclusive to voltron force, he is one of three new cadets for the voltron force. He and vince were once cadets for the galaxy alliance, but were selected to be cadets for the voltron force due to their piloting skills. He also has a liking for going fast. He's kind of impulsive, always getting into trouble; though sometimes his antics are beneficial to the success of voltron force. He sometimes gets jealous of vince and larmina because of their connections to voltron , and tends to feel left out of the group. In the episode decieve and conquer daniel becomes the new pilot of the black lion.

Go lion, localized in english as voltron, is a bottom tier imitation of mobile suit gundam, robotech, and space battleship yamato that somehow became a hoot among the science fiction community in north america. • every single aspect of this series, seems to be like a korean bootleg of what should be considered good. There's even the same stereotypes, much like sayla mass in the original gundam (even though her brother is one of the most powerful newtypes, she can't even pilot a gundam), there’s the stereotype that women can't pilot robots because, y'know, they're women. Go lion is definitely a period piece, if you want to call it that.

Hey guys! thanks to the virus i don't have a job rn ahahahahahaha. So i'm opening up commissions!!!! yay!!!! i personally do mostly voltron legendary defender hyper-phase gift set voltron legendary defender characters voltron legendary defender and bnha, but i can also do fairy tail, one piece, disney, and most other animes/cartoons. If i have never heard of it, it might take me a bit more time.
God so there are probably hundreds of these already but i'm bored and new to this place so i thought, damn, thats a good starter idea. Anyways, i probably won't make as much voltron content in the future, i just really want to start off fresh with something i'm familiar with.

I finally made a voltron oc! still haven’t thought of a name, but i’ll just go with rei right now(lol that name is like the mother of my ocs). Rei is a garrison pilot(shiro’s junior!) and she was the co-pilot for the kerberos mission. Even though she got high scores at piloting, her fighting skill is not that good. She always looks up for her seniors; pilots, scientists, even the engineers.
